Another championship is over and it was time for our fun night. So we decided on a team race.Visiting Guest Daniel Fang flew over from Hong Kong to join the other 10 drivers who decided to race. The drivers were split into 3 teams, and after a few issues with the timing gear a result was acheived with one 28 minute relay race and two 5 minute races. The results of which are on the results page.

NEW RULE FOR 2011 - Because of different varieties of silver can motor and increased cost of silver can motors, the new club stock motor will be the HPI 27T Saturn motor. The new motors will be available to purchase at the first meeting of the year, Monday 10th Jan, ready for the start of the new championship the following week.
This rule has been introduced to try to make the racing closer as there are so many different types of silver can motor with varying levels of performance. The cost of the saturn motor is on average over 50% cheaper than the retail price of a tamiya silver can.
